From imaginary adventures in the front yard to the countless backstories given to my WWF figurines... as long as I can remember I have been a storyteller.

Growing up in Scotland, I was surrounded by them. No-one more so than my father. But while he stopped at the dinner table, I'm hoping to carry my passion into my profession.

I have written several feature screenplays and tv pilots, spanning drama, comedies and thrillers, with all centring on characters who are navigating the fringes of society and their own identities.

After which, I've spent the last 15+ years working in film and television finance, giving me a deeper understanding of the business side of the industry, which in turn, has given me a greater insight into the commercialisation of my writing.

Coupling that with my experience in development research, pitching and producing has armed me with all the skills for success... all I need now is my big break!
